Kayali Expands Its Signature Gourmand Fragrances Into a Full Body Care Routine

According to 7NEWS, Mona Kattan’s Kayali has moved its gourmand fragrance line into body care with the new Yum Lip & Body Collection.

Kayali Expands Its Signature Gourmand Fragrances Into a Full Body Care Routine

The launch pairs two existing scents—Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81 and Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33—with Silk Soufflé Body Creams and matching Cashmere Kiss Lip Balms. For your grooming shelf, this matters because fragrance is no longer the final spray; Kayali is building the scent into the moisturising steps before it.

The launch is a layering system, not a new perfume

Kayali’s first bodycare line extends its established fragrance profiles into a head-to-toe routine. The collection does not introduce completely new scent directions. Instead, it gives you matching products for skin and lips, then leaves the Eau de Parfum as the final layer.

The two body creams come in a 240g format and are priced at $82 each, according to 7NEWS. Both use a whipped texture and contain hyaluronic acid alongside KAYALI Dream Elixir. That blend includes date seed oil, pomegranate fruit extract, sesame oil, moringa oil, almond oil and olive oil. Kayali says the creams absorb without a greasy finish and provide up to 24 hours of hydration.

The scent choice is straightforward:

  • Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81 brings strawberry, pink marshmallow and whipped vanilla.
  • Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 combines bergamot, pistachio gelato and whipped cream, with the wider fragrance profile also described through hazelnut, marshmallow and cotton candy.

That puts both options firmly in the sweet, edible-gourmand lane. If your usual body routine leans toward clean, woody or unscented products, these are not neutral maintenance creams. They are scented tools designed to make fragrance more present.

How to use it without creating a scent pile-up

Treat the body cream as your base layer. Apply it after showering while the skin still needs moisture, giving extra attention to the areas where friction and dryness usually build: arms, chest, shoulders and legs. Let the cream settle before adding perfume. The point is to seal in moisture and establish the matching scent before the Eau de Parfum goes on.

You can keep the routine precise:

1. Clean the skin and dry it without excessive rubbing.

2. Apply the matching Silk Soufflé Body Cream across the body.

3. Give it time to absorb rather than immediately stacking more product.

4. Add the corresponding Eau de Parfum if you want the same gourmand profile to carry further.

5. Use Cashmere Kiss on the lips as the final scented step.

The lip balm comes in a 15g format and costs $41, according to 7NEWS. Both versions use a soft silicone applicator and a non-sticky formula. The Boujee Marshmallow balm has a light pink tint and carries pink marshmallow, juicy strawberry and whipped cream notes. The Pistachio Gelato version is lightly scented with pistachio gelato, hazelnut, whipped cream and cotton candy. Kayali says both provide up to eight hours of hydration.

For a men’s grooming routine, the practical question is not whether the packaging or scent names feel traditionally masculine. It is whether you want a moisturiser that also acts as a fragrance amplifier. If the answer is yes, choose one scent family and keep the layers matched. If the answer is no, use the cream alone and skip the extra spray.

What to check before buying

The collection launched globally on August 28 and is available through Sephora. The listed prices are $82 for each body cream and $41 for the lip balms, though the available reporting does not establish whether those prices apply in every market.

Start with the body cream if you want the main utility: hydration plus a scented base for perfume. Add the lip balm only if you specifically want the fragrance to reach another part of the routine. Buying the full set makes sense for committed fans of either Yum scent, but it is unnecessary if you are still testing whether a dessert-heavy fragrance works on your skin.

Keep the schedule simple: body cream after the shower, fragrance afterward, lip balm when needed. The collection’s value depends on consistency and scent control, not on piling every product on at once.
